About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them reach their full potential. The successful candidate will provide individualized instruction, foster an inclusive classroom environment, and support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Adapt lessons and materials to meet diverse learning needs

Create a supportive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

Use a variety of instructional strategies to support different abilities

Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff

Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with special education requirements

Participate in professional development and school initiatives
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field

Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility in Texas)

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience preferred

Strong understanding of IEP development and differentiated instruction

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Passion for supporting students with diverse needs
