We help decide on a job and negotiate contracts. We can take care of paperwork and follow-up.

We work with our Department of State designated sponsor to secure the visa after the job offer is accepted.

No, we are a completely free service for teachers.
Applying for jobs through ConnectUS gives you access to exclusive job opportunities, expert industry insights and support throughout the interview and visa stage as well as during your time in the U.S. We work directly with schools who are familiar and interested in hiring teachers through visa programs.
Unfortunately subbing is not permitted on the J-1 visa program. Visas are only granted to those offered a full-time teaching position with a minimum of 32 hours per week and a start date at the beginning of the academic year or in the new year (January).
Of course! We also place U.S citizens and permanent residents. Teachers in this category have a lot more flexibility with the types of roles they can interview for and their start date.
