About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about science and enjoys inspiring curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of discovery in students. The successful candidate will create engaging, hands-on lessons that help students understand scientific concepts and real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with Texas state standards (TEKS)

Create a structured and positive classroom environment

Use a variety of instructional strategies, including experiments and inquiry-based learning

Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed

Provide clear and constructive feedback to support student growth

Encourage scientific thinking, problem-solving, and curiosity

Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership

Communicate regularly with families

Participate in professional development and school initiatives
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field

Valid teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain certification in Texas)

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience preferred

Strong content knowledge in science (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics, or general science)

Effective classroom management and communication skills

Passion for engaging students in science learning
