About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys helping students build confidence in mathematics while developing strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. The successful candidate will create engaging, student-centered lessons that make math accessible and meaningful for all learners.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with Texas state standards (TEKS)

Create a structured and positive classroom environment

Use a variety of instructional strategies to support different learning styles

Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed

Provide clear and constructive feedback to support student growth

Help students develop problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills

Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership

Communicate regularly with families

Participate in professional development and school initiatives
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field

Valid teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain certification in Texas)

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience preferred

Strong content knowledge in mathematics

Effective classroom management and communication skills

Passion for helping students succeed in math
