A dynamic public middle school is seeking a passionate and engaging French-speaking Social Studies Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year. This role is ideal for an educator who is fluent in French and experienced in teaching history, geography, civics, or related social sciences at the middle school level.
The ideal candidate will inspire students to think critically about historical and contemporary global issues while fostering cultural awareness and international-mindedness through French language integration.
Key Responsibilities

Teach Middle School Social Studies while incorporating French language elements into instruction where appropriate.

Develop engaging, standards-aligned lessons that promote inquiry, debate, and analytical thinking.

Integrate global perspectives and cross-cultural understanding into curriculum content.

Differentiate instruction to meet diverse academic needs and learning styles.

Use assessment data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.

Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, History, Social Studies, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the middle school level preferred.
Language Proficiency:
Fluency in French (written and spoken) and strong English communication skills.

Additional qualifications include:
