About the Role
A public charter school network in Brooklyn is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary School Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction across core subject areas
Design engaging lessons that promote foundational academic skills, curiosity, and critical thinking
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Foster a structured, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
Build strong relationships with students and families to support student growth
Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and inform instruction
Implement positive classroom management strategies aligned with school culture
Collaborate with grade-level teams on curriculum planning and instructional strategies
Participate in professional development, instructional coaching, and school-wide initiatives
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Education, or a related field
Degree must be equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree
Experience
Minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience preferred
Experience teaching at the elementary level strongly preferred
Skills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of elementary instructional best practices
Ability to deliver engaging, student-centered instruction
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners
Comfort using instructional technology and assessment platforms
Experience with inquiry-based learning, project-based learning, or literacy-rich classrooms preferred
Familiarity with restorative practices or social-emotional learning frameworks is a plus

Additional eligibility requirements include:
A degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree in education or a related subject
Valid teaching qualifications from your home country
At least two years of full-time teaching experience
English language proficiency
