The ideal candidate will inspire students through inquiry-based instruction, real-world applications, and engaging experiments that make science come alive in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement interactive, standards-aligned science lessons that promote inquiry, experimentation, and problem-solving.
- Teach core middle school science subjects, including life science, physical science, and earth science.
- Design and facilitate hands-on lab experiments and projects to deepen student understanding.
- Differentiate instruction to support students with varying learning needs and abilities.
- Integrate technology and real-world applications to enhance student engagement.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages exploration, collaboration, and scientific thinking.
- Assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessments.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and ways to support learning at home.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the middle school level.
- Skills:
- Strong content knowledge in middle school science, including life, physical, and earth sciences.
- Ability to make science engaging and accessible through inquiry-based and hands-on learning.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and student engagement skills.
- Experience using technology to enhance science instruction.
- Passion for fostering scientific curiosity and critical thinking in students.

Additional qualifications include:

A degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree in education or a related subject.

Teaching qualifications in your home country for primary or secondary schools.
