About the Role
A prestigious private school in Gulf Stream, Florida is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School English and History Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English Language Arts and History aligned with curriculum standards.

Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and analytical writing through literature and historical inquiry.

Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student engagement and collaboration.

Differentiate instruction to support a range of learning abilities and styles.

Monitor student progress and use assessment data to guide instruction.

Build strong relationships with students and families to support both academic and social development.

Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to strengthen curriculum and instructional practices.

Integrate technology and interactive learning experiences to enrich classroom instruction.

Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, History, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a middle school setting.
Skills:

Passion for teaching and working with middle school students.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a structured, supportive learning environment.

Experience with differentiated instruction to support diverse learners.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Additional qualifications include:

A degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree in Education, English, History, or a related subject.
