This charter school is an innovative and progressive institution in Brooklyn, seeking a dedicated Teacher to join their team for the 2025 school year. Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement engaging, inquiry-based lesson plans that promote both academic and personal growth in young children.
Foster a classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and critical thinking.
Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, supporting all learners at their own pace.
Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure the success of every child.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, providing updates on student achievements and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues to create and execute school-wide initiatives and events.
Use positive classroom management techniques to create a respectful and nurturing environment.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
Skills:
Strong understanding of child development and best practices in education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
Proficiency in using technology to enhance classroom learning.
Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
Experience with project-based or inquiry-based learning approaches.
Familiarity with Restorative Practices or Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) frameworks but not required.
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage families in the learning process.

Additional qualifications include:
A degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree in education or a related subject.
Teaching qualifications in your home country for primary or secondary schools.
At least two years of full-time teaching experience or equivalent qualifications.
Proficiency in English.
