π About the Role
We are working with a network of charter schools in Brooklyn, New York, supporting over 1,700 students. The school is seeking a Middle School Learning Specialist to provide targeted support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with IEPs in Literacy & Math.

π§ Key Responsibilities
Deliver small group and whole class instruction tailored to student needs
Support students in achieving their IEP goals
Collaborate closely with teachers across subject areas
Provide differentiation strategies within the classroom
Assist with assessments and testing accommodations
Maintain accurate and organized student records
Build strong relationships and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
β Requirements
Bachelorβs degree (required)
Teaching experience (2+ years preferred)
Experience supporting students with additional needs / IEPs
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to adapt curriculum and deliver differentiated instruction
Preferred:
Special Education Teaching Experience
Masterβs degree in Education
