A mission-driven charter school in Rochester, New York is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher to join its team for the 2026–2027 school year. Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction across core elementary subject areas including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies.

Create a positive classroom culture that promotes curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and confidence.

Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs and abilities.

Use assessments and student performance data to monitor progress and guide instructional planning.

Incorporate educational technology, hands-on learning, and interactive teaching strategies into daily instruction.

Collaborate closely with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student achievement and development.

Maintain high academic and behavioral expectations while fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

Support students’ social-emotional growth and overall well-being.

Participate actively in professional development, team meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
Requirements
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field required

Master’s degree preferred
Experience
-
Minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience preferred

Experience teaching elementary students strongly preferred
Skills

Strong instructional and classroom management abilities

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons

Familiarity with educational technology and differentiated instruction strategies
